Hocking Hills Winery 

Enjoy a warm, family-owned  friendly gathering place while savoring award-winning, locally produced wines. Drop in without reservations to taste a variety of wines by the glass or bottle, either inside by the fire or on the spacious outdoor patio. Every weekend, the winery comes alive with live music, creating a fun and social vibe perfect for unwinding after exploring this beautiful region. Hocking Hills Winery also hosts special tastings and unique gatherings that highlight new releases and themed pairings, making each visit fresh and exciting. With delicious appetizer trays and a welcoming setting, you’ll enjoy memorable experience for sure. Tours of the grape-growing and winemaking process are also available.

Le Petit Chevalier Vineyards 

This family-owned farm winery known for its authentic blend of agriculture and winemaking prides itself on estate-grown wines bottled directly on-site, ensuring a personal touch in every glass. This boutique winery has a selection of both dry and sweet wine options in the tasting room, along with charcuterie boards, paninis, and seasonal specials. With rotating food trucks every Saturday and vacation rentals available, it’s an ideal destination for both a relaxing afternoon and an extended Hocking Hills getaway.

Manchester Hill Winery 

Manchester Hill Winery provides a distinctive experience for those seeking a cozy, elevated retreat. This family-run winery specializes in handcrafted wines and hard ciders made from locally sourced ingredients, offering a taste of the region in every sip. Rockside Winery 

Rockside Winery appeals to those seeking a laid-back and diverse tasting experience with estate-grown wine. This winery offers the flexibility to create your own wine flights, sampling five wines for $12, which allows visitors to customize their wine tastings.  Beyond quality wines, they also feature local beer and whiskey, catering to a variety of preferences. With small plates of food items available for purchase, guests can easily pair their drinks with a casual meal. Conveniently, no appointment is required for wine tasting, making it an accessible stop for spontaneous visits.

Shade Winery

Shade Winery offers a relaxing, food-focused experience with a personal touch. Visitors can savor wines by the bottle, glass, or tasting flights in the comfy tasting room or on the wrap-around porch with vineyard views. Serving lunch and dinner, the winery handcrafts upscale regional and international cuisine using whole foods sourced locally whenever possible. Reservations are now accepted to better serve guests, and handcrafted beer is also available, expanding the beverage options.

Hocking Hills Region

As mentioned above, this region of Ohio has many draws besides the wineries of Hocking Hills. We’ve listed several on our Google Map to help you plan out the perfect travel itinerary. Pair a visit to any winery with a stop in Historic Downtown Logan  for many quirky attractions and unique shops. Alternatively, make a day trip to Hocking Hills State Park which is a haven for outdoor adventure seekers followed by an evening at one of the wineries. Summer is a wonderful time to visit the Leelanau Peninsula in Michigan to savor their wines and explore the coast of the Great Lakes. The fall is the perfect time to visit the wineries in Saratoga Springs in New York and savor the colorful foliage. New Jersey AND Wisconsin both have wine regions called Egg Harbor. While you’re in Wisconsin, pop the cork over in St. Croix Falls for some delicious wines. A trip to Springfield, Missouri in the summer would provide many adventurous outdoor activities and some great wine tastings.
