We are Jim and Christine, the travelling teachers. We love writing about our travels and helping others plan their own adventures. As you read our blog posts, you’ll usually find a “road scholar” section which is meant to enhance your experience in each destination.
We’ve written other blogs, but this one will focus traveling in America. As the 4th largest country in the world, it’s filled with plenty of amazing sites. We’ve been to 14 countries, but after visiting every state in America, we’re convinced The United States is the best in the world! From “sea to shining sea” this country has something for everyone.
Holding Masters Degrees in Education, (and a juris doctorate degree from a lifetime ago), we definitely have a scholarly side. We love to meet the locals, experience genuine activities and find some new nuggets of knowledge along the way.
“You can take the teachers out of the classroom, but you can’t take the classroom out of the teachers!” So, as we wind down our long careers as educators, we are grateful for the opportunity to become students of exploration. Want to join our class? Follow along!
