Wilderness Place Lodge

There is no road access to this remote Alaskan river lodge. Guests arrive by float plane via Rust’s Flying Service. Walking, wading or boating to fishing locations is all based on the guests’ preference and abilities.

The Lodge is off grid, and runs on a generator from 5am to midnight. Therefore, power and water are not available for a few hours each night.

Located on the Kenai Peninsula, Alaska Hooksetters offers suites in their main lodge or several different fireside cabins.  The lodge lies on a ridge overlooking the Kenai River Valley. It is nestled on five acres and neighbors 440 acres of forest. Guests can enjoy a feeling of seclusion in the Alaskan wilderness, while at the same time remaining close to more suburban amenities and the exciting outdoor activities people come here to enjoy.
