Little did we know that some of our family’s most cherished moments from our road trips around the United States would come from the unlikeliest of places – New Jersey, where adventure and fun awaited around every corner. New Jersey has approximately 141 miles of oceanfront along the Atlantic Ocean, stretching from Perth Amboy in the north to Cape May Point in the south. We spent a few days in Cape May on our “Namesake Roadtrip” for our beach-loving daughter, Mei Li. However, the extensive coastline of New Jersey offers a diverse range of beaches and other outdoor activities for the entire family.
